This is a part-time, contract-to-hire role for a driven sales professional to own distribution strategy for Thinknirvana Foundation's AI-native Pooled Employer Plan (PEP) product. The position is execution-focused, combining remote prospecting with regional field travel to meet SME business owners directly, build trust, and secure waitlist commitments ahead of platform launch.

Compensation includes a competitive hourly or monthly retainer plus performance-based conversion bonuses, with a clear pathway to a full-time W2 Head of Distribution position carrying equity incentives. The role suits experienced retirement industry professionals, including wholesalers, relationship managers, or product experts, who want to operate in a lean, high-impact startup environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Build, manage, and close a pipeline of SME employer prospects through cold outreach, video pitches, and local field sales activity
  • Secure formal waitlist commitments and plan design data from target businesses ahead of the platform launch sprint
  • Travel within assigned regions to conduct in-person meetings and close business with small and medium-sized business owners
  • Utilise AI-assisted prospecting tools and sales technology to automate lead generation and track pipeline metrics
  • Guide new clients through initial onboarding, acting as the human-in-the-loop to ensure plan data accuracy and compliance
Job Requirments
  • Background in retirement plan sales or distribution, such as internal or external wholesaling, relationship management, or product expertise
  • Proven direct sales track record with comfort in a hunter-style, outbound-led role
  • Willingness and ability to conduct regional field travel for in-person client meetings
  • Familiarity with modern sales technology and AI-assisted prospecting workflows
  • Ability to operate independently in a remote-first, early-stage startup environment
