Product Manager, Fractional Independent Contractor

Join aiEDU as a fractional Product Manager to lead two key product initiatives. You'll develop vibecoding.aiedu.org as a learning platform for educators, students, and partners to build with AI, incorporating community features like competitions and project showcases. Additionally, you'll revamp educator-focused products including a new Curriculum Management System and partner-facing facilitation tools.

This role combines hands-on product development with team coaching, building internal PM capacity through AI-assisted workflows. You'll conduct discovery research, define product requirements, and shepherd build-versus-buy decisions across a 2-3 month development window per project.

• Define product vision and roadmap in partnership with aiEDU leaders and stakeholders
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, user testing, and research to guide feature prioritisation
• Build products end-to-end across 2-3 month windows with stakeholder coordination
• Coach and upskill aiEDU staff on product development best practices
• Develop product requirements documents and maintain clear documentation
• Partner with VP of Operations on security, privacy, and legal considerations

• 5+ years product management experience including 0→1 product launches
• Hands-on AI power user integrating AI across product development stages
• Significant UI/UX frontend development expertise
• Technical fluency with authentication, data infrastructure, and security requirements
• Strong discovery process and user testing experience
• Excellent communication and cross-functional facilitation skills
