Job Details

The fractional president will serve as the senior executive for PS Devices LLC, a lean medical device startup commercialising nasal stent products. Working closely with the board and founders, this role spans commercial strategy, outsourced operations oversight, quality management, and financial planning. The position is suited to an experienced medical device leader comfortable operating in a resource-constrained environment, with equity participation on offer alongside competitive fractional compensation.

The role covers the commercial launch and scaling of the current FDA-registered product while supporting the regulatory pathway for next-generation devices. Strategic partnerships with clinicians, distributors, and key opinion leaders will be central to driving growth.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic direction and day-to-day operations in close collaboration with the board of directors and founders
  • Oversee contracted manufacturing partners, inventory management, and supply chain logistics
  • Direct sales and distribution strategy across direct-to-consumer, physician, and distributor channels
  • Maintain and enhance the quality management system in line with applicable regulatory standards
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, and key performance metrics
  • Build strategic partnerships with clinicians, key opinion leaders, and potential investors
Job Requirments
  • Proven experience as a president or senior commercial executive (VP Sales, VP Marketing, or General Manager) in the medical device industry
  • Demonstrated success commercialising Class I or II medical devices at early-stage or startup companies
  • Strong knowledge of medical device quality systems, ideally including ISO 13485, and distribution channels
  • Familiarity with US regulatory requirements for medical devices and both direct and distributor sales models
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a lean, fractional environment
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred; clinical or technical background is an advantage
