Head of Finance (Fractional)

Truescope is a media intelligence and analytics business with operations across the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Asia. As the company accelerates its geographic and product expansion, it is looking for a hands-on finance leader who can combine strategic thinking with operational delivery. The successful candidate will own the full finance function, from monthly close to investor-ready reporting, while building automated systems that reduce manual processes and improve data integrity across entities.

This is a pragmatist's role suited to someone comfortable rolling up their sleeves to fix processes and systems, while remaining a trusted commercial adviser to senior leadership. The position spans multi-entity oversight, including intercompany flows, foreign exchange, statutory compliance, and shareholder governance of the Singapore joint venture.

• Partner with the CEO and Board as the primary commercial and financial adviser on pricing, vendor management, customer commercials and sales incentives
• Own day-to-day finance operations including invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, cash management, banking and reconciliations, and deliver a timely monthly consolidated close
• Build and automate finance systems using AI tooling, connecting CRM and contract signing through to the accounting system to eliminate billing leakage and capture all ARR
• Strengthen internal controls and reporting integrity by reconciling ARR, product usage and closed deals against invoiced revenue
• Manage external accountants and advisers across the USA and New Zealand, overseeing intercompany flows, foreign exchange, statutory compliance and tax lodgements across all entities
• Maintain shareholder-level oversight of the Singapore joint venture, ensuring governance, controls and intercompany positions are properly managed

• Demonstrated experience leading finance functions in multi-entity, international businesses
• Strong background in financial planning and analysis, monthly close processes and management reporting
• Proven ability to design and implement finance automation and integrated billing workflows
• Experience managing external accountants, statutory compliance and cross-border tax obligations
• Comfortable operating as a strategic adviser to founders, CEO and Board-level stakeholders
• Prior exposure to SaaS or subscription-based revenue models, including ARR tracking and commission reconciliation
