Fractional CTO

Lumicity seeks an experienced fractional CTO to conduct a full-scope technology assessment and build a strategic roadmap for private equity exit preparation. The role demands swift, decisive leadership to evaluate current software environments, identify technical gaps, and advise on scalable systems architecture.

This advisory position requires someone who leads with conviction, providing candid assessments and actionable recommendations. Initial priorities include comprehensive system evaluation and delivering findings ahead of the September board meeting, followed by ongoing strategic technology leadership.

• Conduct comprehensive assessment of current software environment and systems architecture
• Evaluate asset management systems and accounting platforms for PE-readiness and scalability
• Identify critical gaps, technical debt, and integration risks impacting valuation
• Develop five-year technology roadmap aligned to growth targets and exit timeline
• Lead ERP and accounting software selection and implementation planning
• Drive AI/ML strategy identifying high-value use cases for power generation operations

• Deep hands-on experience in Independent Power Producer or power generation sector
• 5+ years technology consulting or fractional CTO advisory engagements
• Proven track record conducting software stack assessments with actionable recommendations
• Working knowledge of ERP and accounting systems in asset-heavy environments
• Familiarity with asset management platforms in power generation or energy infrastructure
• Experience advising leadership teams preparing for capital events (PE, M&A, recapitalisation)
