Solbasium is seeking a hands-on Fractional COO to own operational functions including fulfilment, vendor relations, and freight logistics, reporting directly to the founder during a high-growth phase.
Solbasium is a wellness technology company scaling rapidly in the US market, offering recovery beds, saunas, cold plunges, PEMF units, and related therapeutic devices. The business is in an active growth phase, launching new products and building the operational infrastructure to support serious expansion.
The Fractional COO will own the operational engine of the business end to end. This is a hands-on execution role, not a strategy-only engagement. You will manage fulfilment operations, coordinate Australia-to-US freight logistics, oversee vendor relationships, and hold the sales team accountable, all while reporting directly to the founder as a key member of the executive team.
- Manage end-to-end fulfilment operations and customer delivery processes
- Set up US third-party logistics and coordinate cross-border sea freight from Australia
- Oversee vendor and supplier relationships to ensure reliability and performance
- Manage and hold the sales team accountable to targets and expectations
- Support hiring for freelance and fractional roles as the team grows
- Build and document operational systems and processes across the business
- Coordinate cross-functionally across finance, sales, marketing, and logistics
- Proven experience as a COO, VP of Operations, or Director of Operations
- Background in product-based businesses, e-commerce, or physical goods logistics
- Comfortable managing multiple operational priorities simultaneously in a fractional capacity
- Startup or scale-up experience with a low-ego, high-output working style
- Strong communicator who can manage people directly and drive accountability
- US-based strongly preferred, with cross-border operations experience considered a bonus
Solbasium is a growth-stage wellness technology company specialising in recovery and therapeutic devices, including saunas, cold plunges, and PEMF units, for the US market. The company is scaling rapidly and actively building the operational infrastructure to support continued expansion.
