Fractional CMO

Underwood Law Firm seeks an experienced fractional Chief Marketing Officer to drive digital marketing initiatives for their specialised real estate practice in California. This role combines strategic marketing leadership with hands-on campaign management, focusing on maximising PPC performance and improving customer acquisition costs across multiple digital channels.

The position requires direct oversight of paid advertising platforms including Meta, AdRoll, and Google, whilst maintaining brand consistency and optimising conversion rates throughout the customer journey. You'll work closely with an in-house assistant to execute comprehensive marketing strategies that deliver measurable ROI for this leading real estate law expert.

• Develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies focused on lead generation and performance analytics
• Manage multi-channel paid advertising campaigns across Meta, AdRoll, PPC platforms and OTT channels
• Monitor key performance indicators including conversion rates, ROI on ad spend and customer acquisition costs
• Oversee brand identity management ensuring consistent messaging across all marketing funnels
• Direct in-house marketing assistant providing guidance and accountability for campaign execution
• Optimise landing page conversion strategies and maintain seamless customer journey experiences

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field with minimum 5 years legal marketing experience
• Proven track record in professional services marketing with deep understanding of legal industry compliance
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools including CRMs, SEO, social media and website management platforms
• Data-driven approach with expertise in analysing KPIs, CPA metrics and attribution models
• Strong project management abilities with excellent communication and prioritisation skills
• Experience managing PPC campaigns and optimising ROI across multiple advertising channels
