Interim CFO | Payments | Private Equity | London

Zanda is partnering with a profitable, founder-led payments platform operating across multiple international and emerging markets. The business is preparing for a significant institutional fundraising process and evaluating strategic M&A opportunities. The incoming CFO will report directly to the founders, taking full ownership of the finance function and building the infrastructure required for the next stage of growth.

Initially an interim appointment, the role carries a clear intention to transition into a permanent CFO position for the right individual. The successful candidate will need to operate comfortably across both strategic leadership and hands-on execution in a fast-scaling, multi-jurisdictional environment.

• Lead and scale the finance function within a complex, high-growth payments business
• Build robust financial reporting, forecasting, and planning frameworks
• Deliver board and investor reporting with clear commercial insight
• Lead an institutional fundraising process including investor engagement, due diligence, and transaction support
• Strengthen financial controls, governance, and multi-jurisdictional compliance
• Support evaluation and execution of strategic M&A opportunities

• Proven CFO experience within a high-growth payments, fintech, or financial services business
• Strong track record leading fundraising processes with institutional investors
• Deep understanding of payments economics, revenue flows, and financial infrastructure
• Experience scaling finance functions through rapid international growth
• Strong commercial judgement with the ability to influence at board level
• Comfortable operating in both strategic and hands-on delivery capacity
