Join vcfo as a Consulting CFO to serve multiple clients simultaneously, building trusted advisor relationships whilst developing innovative strategies for revenue growth and profitability improvement. You'll work with 3-5 companies across diverse industries, providing expertise in financial planning, merger and acquisition support, and strategic positioning for market opportunities.
This role combines hands-on financial leadership with business development, requiring you to engage with prospects and existing clients whilst collaborating with internal teams and mentoring junior staff members.
- Engage with company leaders to explain vcfo's services and build trusted advisor relationships with 3-5 diverse clients
- Develop innovative strategies to improve client revenue, profitability, and market positioning for growth opportunities
- Lead and mentor vcfo employees and client teams whilst maintaining highest standards of integrity and communication
- Collaborate with vcfo human resource consultants and support marketing initiatives within the EOS framework
- Participate in business development conversations with prospects and identify new opportunities with existing clients
- Report to executives and boards whilst providing budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling expertise
- BBA in Accounting or Finance required, with MBA or CPA preferred
- 15+ years of finance and accounting experience with at least 5 years as CFO in rapidly growing environments
- Experience working across multiple industries with comfort reporting to executives and boards
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling with strong analytical skills
- Comfortable participating in business development conversations and identifying new opportunities
- Strong communication skills for client education and team collaboration
