MatraVolt Limited seeks a US-based Interim CFO to lead Series A capital raising, manage investor relationships across venture and growth equity, and coordinate diligence and closing activities on a commission basis.
MatraVolt Limited is building prefabricated modular infrastructure for AI data centres, using volumetric-modular architecture that enables high-density, liquid-cooled deployments. The company is approaching its Series A, described as potentially its final institutional round, and needs a senior finance leader or fundraising operator to drive capital raising in the US market.
This is a commission-based interim engagement suited to someone with a strong network across US venture capital, growth equity, infrastructure, energy transition, or AI infrastructure funds. The role is remote and requires 10 to 20 hours per week. Compensation is structured as a travel allowance plus success-based commission, payable in cash, equity, or a hybrid arrangement.
- Refine the fundraising narrative, investor materials, financial model, and valuation logic for a US investor audience.
- Build and manage a targeted investor pipeline spanning venture, growth equity, strategic, infrastructure, and family-office capital.
- Lead US investor outreach and follow-up communications.
- Oversee data room preparation and diligence workflow management.
- Coordinate closing activities through to completion of the Series A round.
- Prior experience as a CFO, investment banker, VC or growth investor, or fundraising advisor.
- Demonstrated track record supporting growth-stage financing processes.
- Established investor relationships across the US market.
- Familiarity with at least one of: AI infrastructure, data centres, energy storage, power infrastructure, project finance, or climate tech.
- Comfortable operating on a success-fee or commission-based compensation model with a Hong Kong-headquartered company.
