Fractional CFO at Lucida Tax + Accounting Solutions

As a Fractional CFO, you'll be embedded within the CAS practice, serving as a strategic financial advisor to a portfolio of clients. This is a client-facing role where you'll deliver CFO-level insight and guidance to business owners and leadership teams who don't have or need a full-time CFO.

You'll work closely with internal CAS, tax, and payroll teams to ensure clients receive a seamless, integrated financial leadership experience. The role involves developing financial models, establishing KPIs, and providing strategic advisory services to support client growth and decision-making.

• Serve as outsourced CFO for assigned portfolio clients, providing strategic financial advisory services
• Develop and maintain client budgets, cash flow forecasts, and long-range financial projections
• Build financial models to support decisions around growth, hiring, capital expenditures, and pricing
• Prepare and present monthly or quarterly financial reporting packages to client leadership teams
• Collaborate with internal CAS staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness of client financials
• Partner with tax professionals to align advisory recommendations with tax planning strategies

• Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive in a client-facing advisory role
• Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, and strategic financial modelling
• Experience working with closely held businesses across diverse industry sectors
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
• Ability to collaborate effectively with accounting, tax, and payroll teams
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA preferred) and relevant certifications
