This is a hands-on, fractional leadership role for an operator who thrives in a physically complex, high-accountability environment. The role involves direct collaboration with the founder to build robust financial foundations for scale and future funding rounds.

• Assess current financial statements, processes, and tech stack to recommend adjustments for scale and fundraising
• Work with the founder to build financial forecasts and evaluate various scenarios
• Prepare the company and finances for eventual Series B funding
• Support key strategic decisions across the business
• Lead financial due diligence and investor relations activities
• Implement financial controls and reporting systems for growth stage operations

• Senior operating experience in a founder-led business environment
• Background as a CFO or VP in FP&A with proven track record
• Strong experience in aerospace or defence industries
• Experience leading fundraising rounds (A-C) with grants and venture finance expertise
• Comfort operating in fast-moving environments where priorities shift quickly
• Direct, pragmatic, and execution-oriented approach to financial leadership
