Interim VP of Transformation - ERP & Tech Systems

Dartmouth Partners has been retained by a specialist private equity technology consultancy to identify a transformation leader capable of owning end-to-end design and delivery of complex ERP and enterprise technology programmes. The role sits at the intersection of strategic advisory and hands-on execution, requiring someone who can manage programme roadmaps while delivering measurable commercial outcomes across a PE-backed client base.

This is a high-autonomy engagement where client development is already handled. The right candidate brings strategic oversight and programme leadership, with strong delivery creating a pathway to repeat deployment and, for the right person, a permanent leadership role within the firm.

• Lead end-to-end ERP selection and implementation across Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, and HR pillars
• Architect the IT roadmap, connecting technology strategy to operating model and value-creation objectives
• Conduct technology due diligence, evaluating legacy systems for maturity and scalability ahead of migrations and consolidations
• Design flexible application architectures and IT operating models that can evolve with the business
• Own the full programme lifecycle, including vendor negotiation, SI management, and risk mitigation
• Drive structured change management to secure stakeholder buy-in and maintain leadership alignment on strategic progress

• 10 or more years of experience in transformation advisory, systems integration, or high-stakes restructuring
• Background in a premier professional services firm or reputable boutique technology-focused consultancy
• Hands-on expertise with large-scale ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday
• Demonstrated success leading programmes in the $10M to $150M range
• Experience in PE-backed, carve-out, or post-merger environments is a strong advantage
