Better Speech seeks a fractional Head of District Partnership Sales to drive expansion of Streamline's K-12 EdTech SaaS platform by building partnerships with special education directors and district leadership across the US.

Job Details

Streamline is a high-growth K-12 EdTech SaaS platform focused on improving school district workflows. This fractional Head of Sales role (up to 20 hours per week) is hands-on and execution-focused, responsible for expanding the platform's reach by identifying, engaging, and closing partnerships with special education directors and district leadership nationwide. The successful candidate will deliver compelling product demonstrations and own the full sales cycle through to close.

Beyond individual contribution, this person will play a key role in designing the future sales organisation as Streamline scales. You will build relationships with senior district decision-makers, shape long-term sales strategy, and drive platform adoption across the country. A background in K-12 EdTech sales and familiarity with the special education landscape are essential.

Job Responsibilities
  • Identify, engage, and close partnerships with special education directors and district leadership across the US
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations to senior district stakeholders
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand Streamline's market reach
  • Design and build out the future sales organisation as the company scales
  • Maintain a disciplined, data-driven approach to pipeline management and forecasting
  • Serve as both a hands-on individual contributor and a strategic sales leader
Job Requirments
  • 5 or more years of progressive experience in K-12 education technology sales, with a focus on selling to school districts
  • 3 or more years in a sales leadership or management role with demonstrated strategic contribution
  • Deep understanding of the special education landscape, including regulatory requirements and funding mechanisms
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas as both an individual contributor and a leader
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust with senior executives
  • High emotional intelligence and a relationship-driven approach to customer engagement
