Head of Demand Generation & Marketing (Contract to Full Time)
Nicklpass is seeking a demand generation leader to build and own the marketing engine that connects the right buyers to their enterprise SaaS and AI spend management platform, starting as a part-time contract with a clear path to full-time.
Nicklpass is the control plane for enterprise SaaS and AI spend, giving CFOs and procurement teams genuine visibility into software utilisation, licensing waste, and unauthorised AI tool costs. The company is post-seed and building pipeline across financial services, media, entertainment, and global manufacturing.
This is a first dedicated demand generation hire, responsible for creating the strategy and execution framework from the ground up. The contract runs for up to three months at 20 to 30 hours per week, converting to full-time based on pipeline performance. Strong early delivery may accelerate that conversion. Key differentiators include patented seat-level utilisation data, an interactive ROI tool, and documented customer results across major enterprise accounts.
- Design and execute the demand generation strategy targeting CFOs and procurement buyers across priority verticals
- Develop messaging that differentiates Nicklpass on utilisation data rather than spend data alone
- Build and manage multi-channel campaigns across paid, content, email, and outbound channels
- Leverage existing customer proof points and ROI tools to generate qualified pipeline
- Establish KPIs, tracking frameworks, and reporting to demonstrate pipeline impact
- Collaborate with the founding team to refine positioning and go-to-market approach
- Proven track record building demand generation programmes in B2B SaaS environments
- Experience marketing to CFOs, procurement, or finance personas in mid-market or enterprise segments
- Ability to develop positioning and messaging independently without an existing playbook
- Strong grasp of pipeline metrics, attribution, and performance reporting
- Comfortable operating in an early-stage, fast-moving startup with limited resources
- Familiarity with AI or SaaS spend management, FinOps, or adjacent categories is a plus
