Fractional Chief Technology Officer

SiiRA builds software that verifies age groups online without collecting personal identifiable information or biometric data. The Fractional CTO will own the technical roadmap, guide a small development team, and ensure the platform scales securely across B2B and B2G markets. The role requires deep expertise in privacy architecture, AI/ML deployment, and regulatory compliance frameworks such as COPPA and state-level age verification laws.

This is a part-time engagement of 10 to 20 hours per week, suited to a senior technology leader who wants to apply their expertise to a mission with clear social benefit. The CTO will also serve as a technical authority in high-stakes enterprise and institutional sales conversations.

• Define and own the high-level technical vision, ensuring infrastructure remains scalable, secure, and commercially aligned
• Oversee architecture to enforce zero-PII compliance, biometrics exclusion, and adherence to global and US privacy regulations
• Mentor and guide the development team on workflows, code quality, and security protocols
• Represent the company technically in enterprise and institutional sales conversations with CTOs, security officers, and IT directors
• Evaluate and optimise real-time AI processing capabilities to handle high volumes without compromising data security or performance

• Prior experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or Chief Architect, preferably in SaaS, cybersecurity, or data compliance environments
• Strong knowledge of data privacy frameworks, encryption standards, and zero-trust architecture
• Hands-on experience deploying and scaling AI or machine learning models in production
• Familiarity with K-12 or institutional network security requirements is highly regarded
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and institutional clients
