Orena Fragrances seeks a Fractional CFO to build its finance function, covering financial planning, profitability analysis, and capital allocation in close partnership with the Founder.
Orena Fragrances is building out its finance function and needs a Fractional CFO to own financial systems, planning processes, and reporting across the business. Working alongside the Founder and department leaders, the role covers budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, cost management, and capital allocation to ensure the company scales sustainably.
The position also encompasses marketing finance, including analysis of customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, channel efficiency, and return on investment across paid and organic channels. The CFO will deliver regular executive reporting, develop KPI dashboards, and provide ongoing recommendations to improve profitability and resource allocation. This is a part-time engagement of 10 to 20 hours per week.
- Develop and manage company-wide budgets, forecasts, and cash flow planning
- Analyse product-level profitability, COGS, gross margin, and SKU performance
- Evaluate marketing channel efficiency, including CAC, LTV, and contribution margin
- Build financial models for new initiatives, product launches, and hiring decisions
- Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly executive reporting and KPI dashboards
- Provide capital allocation recommendations and ongoing guidance to improve operational efficiency
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader, ideally within e-commerce or consumer goods
- Strong financial modelling skills with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations
- Experience building financial processes and systems from the ground up
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving structures
- Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and present to senior leadership
- Owner mindset with a focus on long-term profitable growth
