Plum Good Marketing seeks an experienced Fractional CMO to take ownership of client marketing strategy and operate as a true marketing leader within client organisations. This role involves attending leadership meetings, connecting marketing tactics to measurable business outcomes, and building strategic marketing departments for growth-ready companies.
The position includes a comprehensive development period with training, shadowing, and onboarding into Plum's methodology. You'll work directly inside client businesses as their dedicated marketing department, focusing on manufacturers, EOS-aligned teams, and second-generation business owners who need strategic marketing ownership.
- Own complete marketing strategy for assigned client portfolio
- Attend client leadership meetings as strategic marketing partner
- Connect every marketing tactic to measurable business outcomes
- Build and manage client relationships as trusted marketing advisor
- Operate as internal marketing department within client organisations
- Complete comprehensive training and onboarding programme
- Five to eight years experience owning client relationships
- Proven ability to develop strategic marketing approaches
- Experience working with manufacturing or B2B organisations preferred

- Ability to work on-site in Detroit, MI area
