CFO (Full Time Fractional CFO/Portfolio Management)

Brixey & Meyer Capital seeks a CFO for their Portfolio Consulting team to support multiple portfolio companies. This role combines traditional CFO responsibilities with portfolio management, reporting to individual company CEOs whilst maintaining oversight from BMC. The position focuses on professionalising finance functions across the investment portfolio, ensuring consistency and quality of financial operations.

This full-time role involves managing financial operations across multiple lower middle market businesses, providing strategic guidance on capital planning, and supporting growth initiatives. The CFO will work closely with executive teams whilst implementing standardised financial processes and reporting across the portfolio companies.

• Serve as member of Executive and EOS teams across portfolio companies
• Professionalise accounting and finance processes across multiple organisations
• Manage overall financial operations including banking, cash management, and capital planning
• Oversee accounting operations including general ledger, receivables, payroll, and reporting
• Direct Controller management at each portfolio company
• Develop costing strategies and analyse financial performance metrics

• 10+ years progressive accounting and finance experience with 3+ management years
• Demonstrated ability to manage across multiple organisations
• Experience in growing, multi-company or PE-backed environments
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and deadline management
• Proven leadership capability and ability to work independently
