Chief Medical Officer (CMO)

Southend Pharmacy seeks a Chief Medical Officer to establish clinical excellence across its health portfolio. You'll define clinical standards for men's health, women's health, and longevity services whilst building robust governance frameworks. The role involves creating safety-first operational models and leading telehealth-native quality programmes to support rapid growth whilst maintaining clinical integrity.

This position requires strategic oversight of clinical operations, including provider management, compliance frameworks, and cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering teams. You'll shape the future of accessible healthcare delivery through innovative clinical systems and processes.

• Define clinical vision and standards across men's health, women's health, and longevity services
• Establish governance mechanisms and decision rights across subsidiaries
• Build telehealth-native quality and patient safety programmes
• Design operational systems including clinician planning and performance KPIs
• Lead high-performing clinical teams through recruitment, training, and supervision
• Own clinical product strategy for EHR systems and clinical tooling

• MD or DO with active, unrestricted US medical licence
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, OB/GYN, or Urology
• 10+ years clinical experience including 5+ years senior leadership
• Proven experience in telehealth or tech-enabled care environments
• Strong knowledge of US healthcare regulations and compliance
• Experience with EHR systems and clinical technology platforms
