Fractional CFO

We're seeking an experienced, hands-on fractional CFO with early stage fundraising experience to lead financial operations for an electric vehicle charging infrastructure company. This role requires fluency in business Korean and involves partnering directly with the founder to build finance operations, optimise capital structure, and support rapid commercial and geographic expansion. The position focuses on fundraising efforts, financial planning, and strategic capital deployment to scale charging station infrastructure.

• Provide strategic financial leadership as part of the executive team, working directly with the founder
• Lead fundraising efforts including equity, debt, grants, and strategic partnerships whilst managing investor relationships
• Conduct rapid assessments of finance team, systems, and processes to identify stabilisation priorities
• Build and oversee FP&A, cash management, scenario modelling, and capital planning for growth initiatives
• Establish and monitor key financial KPIs including burn rate, runway, margin per site, and unit economics
• Advise on commercial contracts, project financing structures, grant applications, and vendor negotiations

• 2+ years in the C-suite at venture-backed companies or VP-level finance leadership experience
• 4+ years direct experience in renewable energy or EV charging/mobility infrastructure with charging station economics knowledge
• Proven track record leading fundraising rounds, particularly seed/Series A, and structured project financing
• Experience in fractional, part-time, or interim executive roles strongly preferred
• Strong financial and operational acumen with P&L oversight and KPI-driven engagement capabilities
• Professional proficiency in Korean (spoken and written) required
