Fractional CFO (Contract)

The Fractional CFO will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, providing financial leadership to build a more efficient, data-driven, and scalable business system. This is an evaluate, revamp, and build role rather than maintenance work. The position focuses on improving financial visibility, streamlining core processes, and supporting sound decision-making across sales, marketing, and distribution operations.

This role is ideal for an experienced financial executive who thrives in dynamic environments and has deep understanding of manufacturing sector cost structures and operational efficiency. The successful candidate must have prior Fractional CFO experience in manufacturing environments and demonstrate a hands-on approach to driving initiatives forward.

• Improve financial visibility and reporting across all business operations
• Build and manage scalable budgeting and forecasting processes
• Support pricing, margin, and multi-channel distribution strategy
• Optimise cash flow and working capital management
• Provide strategic insight to guide growth decisions
• Evaluate resources and make recommendations for improvement and streamlining

• Proven experience (10+ years) as CFO or senior finance leader in CPG manufacturing or industrial setting
• Deep understanding of cost accounting, supply chain finance, and operational metrics in manufacturing
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with hands-on financial management capabilities
• Multi-company Fractional CFO experience required
• Experience with ERP systems including NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or MBA strongly preferred
